Year of Luigi – Game Roundup
In this morning’s Nintendo Direct Satoru Iwata announced that this year would be the year of Luigi. With that in mind Nintendo is going to be releasing quite a few Luigi themed games, here is a list:
New Super Luigi U DLC
Luigi will get his own dedicated DLC in New Super Mario U which will feature Luigi as a playable character and most likely add worlds featuring Luigi.
Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon
- The flash light will have a “Dark Light” ability for finding objects.
- Miyamoto says the 3D immersion adds a lot of depth to the game
- The three modes will be Hunter, Race and Chase
Mario & Luigi Dream Team
Mario and Luigi Dream Team will take place in Luigi’s dreams, where the player will have to resolved puzzles by interacting with Mario on the top screen on the 3DS and at the same time interacting with a slumbering Luigi on the bottom screen.
Mario Golf: World Tour
Nintendo has announced the sixth instalment of Mario Golf will be released, this is not directly a Luigi game but will certainly feature Luigi as a playable character.
