Xbox 720 will be Always Online… And that’s Really Bad.

Personally, I have never been a big fan of the Xbox and always preferred Nintendo and Sony, I’m about to get a really good reason for not being a fan.

The Verge reports that the upcoming Xbox 720 will be always online. That means you won’t be able to buy or sell used games since they will be assigned to one account. This is really bad news for single player game fans, I would also imagine pawn shops across the globe are freaking out right now.

Microsoft is taking a DRM/Closed ridden approach to all its newest techs and in my opinion that’s not something which will result well for them. Gabe Newell has already labeled Windows 8 as a catastrophe. I sure hope the Xbox 720 won’t be another catastrophe.
