If you missed it: Zelda Wii U Details
All day long the big news was the Wind Waker HD Remake but Nintendo has also announced a few more details on the new Zelda Wii U game. First of all, it will feature a multiplayer mode. Yupp, you heard right multiplayer in a Zelda game, we have yet to learn more about this and don’t know if it’ll be online or multiple controllers (is Link getting a sidekick?).
Eiji Aonuma also stated that they will re-invent the Zelda franchise by giving the game a less linear gameplay and a more open-world feel. This made me think that a sandbox Zelda game would be absolutely awesome… Imagine being able to take decisions all the time and these decisions would affect the storyline and world. Anyway, I’m probably dreaming here but getting a less linear gameplay is definitely something I’m looking forward to.
