Xbox Live Purchases are apparently NOT permanent

Soooo, it seems that Xbox Live purchases are not permanent and in the words or Kristi “Everything eventually breaks, expires or is no longer available.”

I had a similar experience with GameFly a few weeks ago. I had purchased Never Winter Nights 2 back in 2009 on Direct2Drive which was since acquired by GameFly, they did offer me a 20$ discount on any other purchase. I was still pissed because I really wanted to play NWN2 again but whatever, I got a free copy of Torchlight II from it I guess, this guy got nothing.
